Do we see things as getting tougher and tougher, or are there possibilities and open roads before us? As long we think that things cannot change, we are stuck in yesterday and no now is possible. If we believe this, then what would be the use of spiritual practices? Why would we even think of living better lives if we did not think we have access to an inner power that we can use? What we know of the Infinite Mind is that it never forces and always allows.
A fine, old teacher of mine frequently made his point by saying that consciousness is cause, and everything is consciousness.
